该设备主要用于对冷拔钢管与热轧钢管及无磁材料的钴镗孔精密加工，也可对圆钢进行钻孔及套料加工，使用专用刀具加工，可提高钢管内孔尺寸精度和表面质量，可加工的材料可为20、45、16Mn、25Mn、27SiMn.有色金属，普碳钢、优质
碳钢、低合金钢等。
